The Rotary Club of Hornsby District (RCoHD) unites dedicated people to exchange ideas, build relationships and take action. The club builds networks and impacts change with local communities. At the RCoHD we value diversity and celebrate the contributions of people of all backgrounds, regardless of their age, ethnicity, race, colour, abilities, religion, socioeconomic status, culture, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
The Rotary Club of Hornsby District shares it mission and vision with the Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation, cross-learning and supporting programs both within and outside of Australia.
The club welcomes past Rotarians, Rotarians who have recently moved into the Hornsby area, or someone who wants to make a difference in the community. The club is looking for people who want to:
- Get involved with the Hornsby District community
- Connect with other professionals
- Share their time and experience with younger members from Interact and Rotaract
- Support international projects
- Use their skills to help others
The process of membership starts with sending an Expression of Interest email to (email address). The Director of Membership will contact prospective members and invite them to attend a few membership meetings. If selected, the club votes on the new member and they are welcomed to join the Rotary Club of Hornsby District officially during the Pride of Workmanship awards event.
